Illustrate Your Own Tee

Illustrate Your Own Tee

with Sindy Sinn and Blair Sayer

Create your own rad tees

Illustrate and design your very own street poster with illustrator dudes Sindy Sinn + Blair Sayer.

In this 2.5 hr workshop, you'll have ample one-on-one time with Blair and Sindy as you bring your design to life.

Oh! And because we like to make a real go of things, we'll serve some beers and snacks too. It's usually Mary's fried chicken, or some charcuterie and cheese from Continental, and a couple of tins from Young Henrys.

About Blair + Sindy:
Blair Sayer has always loved to draw. When the New Zealand ex-pat was younger, his days were spent climbing electric fences, taunting medium sized dogs, and hoping for a rainy day so he could draw more.  Blair turned semi-professional in his mid-teens when he started cartooning for the local rag. Wellington School of Design was his next step, and after graduating in 1993, he has been illustrating ever since. Craft beer, tee shirts and gig posters are his favourite canvases.

Sindy is a Newtown-based illustrator that specialises in skulls, beers and skulling-beers. A long-haired, foul-mouthed illustrator-dude, you’ll probably recognise his bold gruesome artwork from every bar in Newtown... not to mention his work with MARYS, Mambo and The Misfits. He runs an art-studio from inside the Young Henrys brewery, where he creates the core of their collaborative artwork.

As well as beer, he’s inspired by music and has pumped out t-shirt designs for everyone from The Rolling Stones to Peking Duk and Parkway Drive. He loves dad-jokes, high-fives and bad-tattoos… plus is also the funniest and coolest guy in the whole world.

About Blair Sayer

Blair Sayer has always loved to draw. When the New Zealand ex-pat was younger, his days were spent climbing electric fences, taunting medium sized dogs, and hoping for a rainy day so he could draw more. Blair turned semi-professional in his mid-teens when he started cartooning for the local rag. Wellington School of Design was his next step, and after graduating in 1993, he has been illustrating ever since. Blair styles vary, as he's easily bored and enjoys a challenge. His clients are varied as much, with craft beer, tee shirts and gig posters being his favorite canvases. Blair now lives in Glenmore Park (posh Penrith) and works in the city most days. He's always up for a chat, even more so a beer - and loves that he gets to enjoy both at his Cultivate Folk workshops!
